Did you work with Parsons Refinery, Petrochemical, Defense, and Infrastructure EPC Construction Projects? According to publicly filed asbestos litigation records, it allegedly contained asbestos. Here is what it was, who was exposed, and who is responsible. Parsons Refinery, Petrochemical, Defense, and Infrastructure EPC Construction Projects, sold from 1944 until present (asbestos era through the 1980s). The Ralph M. Parsons Company (today Parsons Corporation) engineered and constructed major U.S. refineries, petrochemical plants, defense facilities, and infrastructure through the asbestos era. Plaintiffs allege Parsons EPC construction specified extensive asbestos and exposed trade workers on Parsons project sites. According to publicly filed asbestos litigation records, this product allegedly contained the following: asbestos refractory and block insulation; asbestos pipe covering; asbestos gaskets and packing; spray-applied asbestos fireproofing on structural steel. Workers allegedly exposed around this product included Refinery pipefitters, Insulators, Boilermakers, and Defense construction workers. Asbestos claims are brought against the companies that made the products. If you worked with or around Parsons Refinery, Petrochemical, Defense, and Infrastructure EPC Construction Projects and were later diagnosed with mesothelioma, asbestosis, or another asbestos-related disease, you may have a legal claim against the manufacturer. Premises Description
The Ralph M. Parsons Company (Parsons Corporation — founded 1944 by Ralph M. Parsons; today headquartered Chantilly VA) was through the second half of the 20th century one of the principal U.S. engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors — designing and building refineries, petrochemical plants, defense facilities, aerospace test facilities, and major infrastructure projects. Parsons was a substantial player in the Middle East refinery construction market and in the U.S. defense and aerospace EPC market.
Plaintiffs alleged in publicly filed U.S. asbestos personal-injury and wrongful-death litigation that Parsons-engineered and Parsons-constructed refineries, petrochemical units, defense facilities, and industrial projects specified through the asbestos era extensive asbestos-containing materials and that Parsons exposed pipefitters, insulators, boilermakers, and construction-trade workers dispatched to Parsons EPC projects to extensive asbestos.
Parsons Corporation / Ralph M. Parsons has been named as a Premises/Construction Defendant in publicly filed U.S. asbestos personal-injury and wrongful-death litigation.
